You might not know the Lions have helped to:
- Organize Scrap Drives during World War II
- Support Lions Eye Research Center at Yale
- Built the stone pillar at the entrance to Orenaug Park- with stones from 50 states!

The Woodbury Lions Club have sponsored two Leo's Clubs: at Woodbury Middle School in 1997 and Nonnewaug High School in 1999
The Woodbury Lions are a group of volunteers. We are your friends, neighbors, and community members. We are organized and adhere to all International Lions Club mandates. This includes our annual election of our leadership team!
