How We Help

The Woodbury Lions Club has been dedicated to supporting our community for close to 90 years. We are community members who volunteer to raise funds that go directly back to our town, benefiting local families, groups, and small businesses.

A Critical Part of our Success: Our Leos!

Woodbury is lucky to have two Leos clubs

Woodbury Middle School- Sponsored in 1997 Nonnewaug High School- Sponsored in 1999

These exceptional young people help raise funds and give back through service. To the left is our Nonnewaug High School group who made suncatchers for pediatric hospice patients. In December, they helped support the Community Services Council by holding a food drive. The contributions of these groups are essential in helping our community thrive.

Key to the NHS program are Sandy Snabaitis and Mike Hadoulis, as well as Lion Ken Deschino who has been a mentor for 27 years!
